About Us

OBJETIVES OF ESTABLISHMENT OF RESIDENTIAL EDUCATIONALINSTITUTIONS.

            The Government have established TREI Society  ( Earlier it was APREI Society)  in the year 1972 as an autonomous body. The objective of the Society is to provide quality education to the rural talented Children  by establishing and maintaining Residential Educational Institutions in the State.
            The first Residential School was started at Sarvail in Nalgonda District to cater the needs of Telangana pupils during 1971-72.  At present TREI Society is managing 37 institutions( 35 Residential Schools and 02 Residential Junior Colleges) as shown below.

1.1    SALIENT FEATURES OF  T.S. RESIDENTIAL SCHOOLS:

- The strength of a section in each class is limited to 40
Teacher-pupils ratio is 1:20
Personal attention is paid to the individual needs of students such as low proficient and high proficient.
Highly qualified and talented PGTs and TGTs are recruited/appointed for instruction. The Teachers with B.A/B.Sc., B.Ed., teach classes V to VII and teachers with M.A/M.Sc., with B.Ed., teach Classes VIII to X.  This ensures quality education.
Self-discipline is developed.
- Emphasis is laid on Co-curricular activities, development of moral values and character building.
- Special Emphasis is laid on Sports and Games by organizing special Camps to ensure all round development of students.
